Brand New Strings

Don’t call it a comeback; the members of Brand New Strings have been here for years. Bluegrass lovers everywhere benefited when some of East Tennessee’s favorite bluegrass players—Randall Massengill, Tim Tipton, Mike Ramsey, Stuart Wyrick and Matt Leadbetter—got together, started a band and put out a CD. No Strings Attached exhibits the band’s hard-drivin’ approach to originals and traditional tunes, with a little gospel thrown in for good measure.
